Many theologians writing today write to specific doctrines or dogmas. The work of creating a systematic theology is, for most church theologians, the work of a lifetime--or they see their work as contributing to one piece of the whole. Nonetheless, there are contemporary books that try to present the sweep of systematic theology to students engaging in this particular subdiscipline of theology. This list is ecumenical.
