Using Google Scholar

Google Scholar can be especially useful in the Literature Review process because the database allows you to explore article citations.

If you haven't already, you will need to link Google Scholar to Saint Mary's Account so that you can access articles in our collection (and request articles that are not. You can find out how to do so on the Google Scholar page of the library website.

The Google Scholar page also includes information about how to use Google Scholar to "citation mine", or to use an article's citations to find additional articles and to identify seminal articles.
