The Pluralism Podcast
The Pluralism Podcast is a student-produced program of the Pluralism Project at Harvard University. The show, in three segments, presents a snapshot of the research and information you will find in On Common Ground. These vignettes highlight America’s rich diversity and changing religious landscape and feature moments of encounter in the public sphere.
America’s Changing Religious Identity (from PRRI) The American religious landscape is undergoing a dramatic transformation. White Christians, once the dominant religious group in the U.S., now account for fewer than half of all adults living in the country. Today, fewer than half of all states are majority white Christian. PRRI (Public Religion Research Institute) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to conducting independent research at the intersection of religion, culture, and public policy.
